Delta Airlines Flight Status Screens

The only problem with using “low cost” digital displays (aka going cheap) is that the attitude tends to carry over into the most expensive part of the equation. Software and monitoring.

From Linkedin 2.14.2024

This one has it all: black screen, blue screen, poor formatting, “no signal” warnings, & a design disaster to top it off. A true greatest hits of screen failures  👏

How does one bank of screens manage to get this much wrong?

Even if they were working, I’d struggle to make sense of eight chaotic terminals flashing at me – especially at 6:27am.

No notes. Just turn them off & try again.
